William Dorman - Chairman of the Board and CEO
William Dorman is the CEO and Chairman of the Board for Kryterion Incorporated. He was instrumental in founding Kryterion in 2001 and was appointed CEO of Kryterion in early 2010. William has an extensive background in computerized examination delivery. He was previously CEO of Drake Prometric, a computerized testing company (1992-1995). Drake Prometric was sold in 1996 to Sylvan Learning Systems Inc. in a multi-million dollar exchange as reported by the New York Times.
Rob Armstrong - Chief Operating Officer
After 30+ years of marketing, managerial and executive experience in software, internet and SaaS industries, Rob Armstrong is currently serving as COO for Kryterion. Previously he served as the CEO and President of Apex EDI, a leading medical and dental claims clearinghouse that helps doctors get reimbursed by insurance companies.
Prior to Apex, Armstrong spent 15 years in the genealogy software, data and subscription business working for several companies, including The Learning Company, OneGreatFamily and Broderbund. He was Founder and CEO of Genealogy.com, which was sold to A&E Television Networks.
He started his career with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a dual major MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University in the City of New York. Rob is married, has two children and loves to play golf, ride his bicycle and play computer games.
Leslie Thomas, Ph.D. - Chief Psychometric Officer
Leslie Thomas has more than 20 years' experience in the testing industry. In her role at Kryterion, Leslie and her team work closely with clients to help them make the best decisions for their programs based on her extensive expertise, experience, and practical approach to problem-solving. Leslie finds her inspiration for the industry by helping organizations translate their business goals into a program that provides real value to their stakeholders such as increased public safety, enhanced product adoption, higher customer satisfaction, or lower support costs.
When she is not working, Leslie enjoys taking her spoiled dogs on hikes or you will find her competing in Hunter/Jumper shows with her horse, never a dull moment. Growing up in Erie, Pennsylvania she was subject to cold temperatures and lake effect snow and can now take full advantage of the beautiful year-round weather in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Elon Flegenheimer - Chief Technology Officer
Elon Flegenheimer is the Chief Technology Officer of Kryterion with 17 years of experience in software development, software architecture, management, project management, information security, and DevOps. Elon has only been in the testing industry for a year and is seeing Kryterion's product lineup with fresh eyes. He enjoys applying lessons learned from the Fortune 100 to stealth startups and from transitioning legacy applications to building cutting edge products. When not at work Elon enjoys spending time with his family, making country wines, and experimenting with various technologies.
William Wilkins - Director, CX/CS Advocate
William Wilkins has over 30 years of experience in software development and IT management, almost 20 years of which has been spent with Kryterion. This has allowed him to experience the full evolution of Kryterion’s products, services, and people. About a decade ago, William joined the Client Services team, eventually rising to lead the department. Given that William’s professional passions all center around the customer experience and helping customers to reach their objectives, he has now taken the lead in Kryterion’s Customer Experience/Customer Success platforms.
When not at work, William can usually be found at home being terrorized by his 2 rambunctious cats or out his yard watching birds and recording data about them. When asked about what he loves most about working at Kryterion his response is, “What we do here changes lives, which is why I am so excited to be part of this organization.”
John Dight - Senior Director, Sales
John Dight has more than twenty-five years of experience in sales, training, marketing and general management. Originally from Cambridge, UK, John was heavily involved in the early days of the mountain bike industry before helping launch the Jeep brand in the UK. He moved to the USA in 1999. With over 12 years of experience in the testing industry at Kryterion, John is a former member of the ATP security committee and has presented at industry events. In his spare time he still manages to mountain bike a couple of times a week and enjoys restoring classic cars. His current project is a 1970 Chevy Impala convertible.
