Many exams require the use of calculators or access to reference materials, which can create quite a distribution and security challenge. Webassessor's split screen functionality allows view-only PDFs, Excel sheets, html text, video, graphics and even calculators (basic or scientific) to be displayed on screen, next to the relevant question.

This feature eliminates the need to ship and store test aid materials at testing centers. It also prevents test takers from being able to store unauthorized materials in the memory of their calculators and bringing them to the test center. The Split screen can be moved over to allow for reading of the document, then moved back to allow the question to be answered.
