David Foster Ph.D. - Chief Executive Officer

Dr. David Foster currently serves as CEO of KRYTERION, a unique Online test delivery and administration company. He has started two other successful companies, Galton Technologies in 1997 and Caveon in 2003. Earlier, he directed the test development efforts at Novell from 1990 to 1997, introducing many new innovations, including adaptive testing, testing in multiple languages, and simulations- based testing. Dr. Foster serves on several industry boards and councils. He has been President and Chairman of the Association of Test Publishers. He currently sits on the Council for the International Test Commission, was recently elected to the American National Standards Institute Board of Directors, and serves on its Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee. He founded the Performance Testing Council to further the use of tests that directly measure important job or educational skills. He has authored numerous articles for industry trade journals and textbooks, and has presented extensively at industry conferences.

He has been creating and improving computerized testing systems since 1982 and has been influential over the past 25 years in introducing many important industry innovations and initiatives. Most recently at KRYTERION he is using the ability of the Internet to deliver secure tests wherever and whenever they are needed.

John Peeke-Vout - Chief Operating Officer

John Peeke-Vout has been managing technology activities and enterprises for over 30 years. John spent over 20 years in Silicon Valley in a variety of companies, including Motorola, managing software and systems development. He has significant expertise in directing all aspects of the software development process (life cycle) from initial concept, through design, programming, testing and product roll-out. More recently he has performed the role of COO for two San Francisco Bay Area companies. His industry experience includes technology companies, higher education, financial institutions, research organizations, insurance and consulting. John has worked with rapidly growing companies and has successfully designed and built the necessary infrastructure, systems and processes to support their growth.

As KRYTERION’s COO, John is responsible for the strategic direction and management of product development, client services and operations, channel (delivery) services and internal administration. He has a Bachelor of Science from the Royal Air Force College Cranwell, England.

William Dorman - Executive Chairman

William Dorman has been a senior manager with the companies of Drake International for over 25 years and has managed operations for Drake in several countries. He began his tenure with Drake International in 1978 and managed several business operations as well as finance and corporate development. In 1990, Drake International bought a majority share in part of the industrial training division of Control Data Corporation which was renamed Drake Prometric in 1992. At that time, William took over as Chief Executive Officer and then became President as well in 1993. He was instrumental in leading Drake Prometric's remarkable growth over the years and in utilizing Drake's international infrastructure to expand Drake Prometric's worldwide success.

William has lived and worked in the USA, the Middle and Far East, and across the UK. With a deep understanding of worldwide business cultures, he combines a professional education (Law and Finance degrees as well as a Masters in Business Administration) and extensive business management experience. He has developed and led many companies from small and unprofitable operations to significant and profitable market positions.

Pam Cabalka - VP, Distance Testing

Pam Cabalka is the Vice President, Distance Testing for KRYTERION, Inc. and is responsible for the Distance Education/Distance Learning market. Pam has 29 years of experience in the high tech industry, where she has held executive management positions in sales, marketing, operations, and general management. Pam was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Drake Prometric during the years of unprecedented growth in IT testing and certification. After the Prometric acquisition by Sylvan Learning Systems, Pam became General Manager of the $100+ million IT and Professional Licensure business unit at Sylvan Prometric.

Pam's executive management roles include being the CEO of Boundary Medical and PurchaseSoft, EVP of Sales and Marketing at Allen Interactions, VP of Sales and Marketing at Infospan and VP, Industry Solutions at Software AG, where she was also the first female District Manager in the company's history. Pam has a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, cum laude, from Roanoke College.

Quinn Sutton - VP, Marketing

Quinn Sutton currently leads KRYTERION's global marketing efforts, developing and extending its brands and providing strategic direction to the executive team. He has been an active player in the IT Education arena for over 15 years. Previously, Quinn worked for a variety of industry leading companies including TestOut Corporation, where he not only lead marketing activities but also was the driving force in creating their online training curriculum for academic institutions. In addition to founding his own strategic marketing firm (Bleufinger, Inc.), he was responsible for global channel sales for SmartForce's Mentoring Services, the successful launch and worldwide marketing for Galton Technologies, strategic marketing and business planning for Novell Education, and worldwide marketing for WordPerfect Training & Certification.

Quinn has lived and worked in South America, the Middle East, the Far East and Europe. He received an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, and a Masters of International Business (MIB) from L'institut de Gestion Sociale and the Sorbonne in Paris, France. In addition, Quinn is a regular speaker at industry events a recognized author in trade publications and an active member of several professional associations.

Cyndy Fitzgerald - Sr. Director, Client Services

Cyndy Fitzgerald has more than 20 years of experience in the testing industry where she has earned industry-wide recognition for her efforts to promote standards and the appropriate use of technology in the development of computer-based tests.

In her role as Director of Client Services for KRYTERION, Cyndy manages and directs the Technical Account Management Team and the Customer Services Representatives (Technical Support) Team.

As a co-founder of Caveon Test Security she has continued to advance the need for stronger test security. Prior to Caveon, she played a pivotal role in building the highly successful Microsoft Certified Professional program and has always been involved in pushing the envelope with technology.

Cyndy was President and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Test Publishers in 2003 and has served on a variety of other industry boards and committees throughout her career. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Measurement and Statistics from Southern Illinois University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of New York at Stony Brook.

Jennifer McGlashon - Sr. Director, Channel Services

Jennifer McGlashon has over twenty five years experience in sales, training, program and operations management where she accumulated extensive experience in the coordination and management of highly complex projects. At KRYTERION Jennifer is responsible for the development and management of the KRYTERION High-stakes Online Secured Testing (HOST) Network.

Jennifer’s experience as a national communication coach proves valuable in directing all aspects of the Channel including the recruitment of new Channel partners, the development of HOST Location policies and procedures, and the delivery of the highest quality and most secure testing available through KRYTERION’s HOST Network.

Prior to coming to Drake in 2000, Jennifer was instrumental in the development and fulfillment of high-level and successful projects such as transforming Support Technologies Help Desk 2000 membership organization into an advisory services program, and the sales and support of Arizona Instrument Corporation’s products throughout Europe.

Jerry Christensen - Partnerships

Jerry Christensen is a veteran business and marketing professional, who co-founded Galton Technologies and served as that company's Vice President of Corporate Development for five years. Prior to founding Galton, he spent a decade pioneering the training, testing and certification programs at Novell Inc. where he served as Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Christensen's tenure at Novell was marked by innovative training and certification programs, which continue to be emulated as standards in the industry. He has also served as Assistant Vice President for ALPS and an International Market Researcher for IBM in the early 1980s. He holds an MBA in international marketing and has lived and worked abroad in Denmark, Belgium and Germany at various stages of his career. He has been an officer on various boards of directors, and has co-founded multiple industry associations.

At KRYTERION, Jerry Christensen leverages his experience and contacts throughout various vertical markets in the testing industry to establish partnerships. Jerry is instrumental in crafting KRYTERION solutions in conjunction with other testing vendors that meet the specific needs of test sponsors.
