College of Dietitians of Ontario (CDO):

The College of Dietitians of Ontario governs the profession of dietetics in Ontario. The College ensures:

  • Public Protection;
  • High quality care by Registered Dietitians;
  • Regulated health professions are accountable to the public.

The College of Dietitians of Ontario was founded and incorporated in 1993 as one of 22 Health Colleges established to regulate 24 health professions www.regulatedhealthprofessions.on.ca. The College has the authority under the Regulated Health Professions Act to:

  • Establish requirements for becoming a dietitian;
  • Issue certificates of registration to dietitians who are qualified to practice dietetics in Ontario;
  • Set and monitor high standards of conduct and practice;
  • Promote continuing competence among members;
  • Help individuals exercise their right to quality dietetic services by investigating complaints about dietitians;
  • Assist dietitians with remediation or impose sanctions against dietitians who have been found incompetent or have behaved in an unprofessional way.

Presently, the College of Dietitians of Ontario has approximately 2700 members. It is organized in a three-part structure including a governing board called a Council www.cdo.on.ca composed of Fourteen elected and appointed Council members headed by a President and an administrative staff of eight people headed by a Registrar & Executive Director. The College also has at least six dietitians participating in the work of the seven statutory and other committees of the College.

National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA):

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) is the premier trade association representing qualified HVAC cleaning contractors. NADCA certification is recognized around the world as the benchmark for trained and qualified professionals. Through NADCA certification, NADCA members demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency in conducting HVAC assessments, cleaning, and restoration services.



American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE):

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) is the premier trade association representing qualified HVAC cleaning contractors. NADCA certification is recognized around the world as the benchmark for trained and qualified professionals. Through NADCA certification, NADCA members demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency in conducting HVAC assessments, cleaning, and restoration services.

American IAQ Council (IAQ Council):

The American Indoor Air Quality Council is a non-profit certifying body founded in 1993 to serve the indoor air quality industry. The IAQ Council operates independent, third-party accredited certification programs for indoor environmental consultants, microbial consultants, microbial remediators, indoor air quality administrators and residential mold inspectors. The IAQ Council certifies more than 5,000 professionals in the United States, Canada and overseas.
